Oh the Joy of Field Trips!!!

As if it isn't enough to ride a yellow dog into Dallas with a bunch of very excited and VERY loud Kindergartners, the weather never cooperates when I attend a field trip! So we head out to the Dallas Arboretum... springtime... the best time to go!!! Everything is in full bloom!!! Yea, right!! Try 45 degrees, misty and windy... We got there in time to have lunch (at 10:30???). Then we had free time to take our group and walk around and "enjoy" the beauty and goodness! Whatever!! It was COLD! I have never been so excited to go to "rock" class! It was INSIDE! After rock class, we had more time to "enjoy!" I preferred to "enjoy" near the entrance where we could be first in line for the bus... however, my girls insisted on "enjoying" elsewhere! I must admit, the kids all had a great time, and you might know that the sun appeared as soon as we loaded up to head back to McKinney! Here are a few pics!
